Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine if teachers teach actions to care for the environment and whether they promote, with their students, the importance of environmental awareness. Attended two educational institutions in the area of the holiday camp Treasury in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz: the Benito Juarez school buildings and Adolfo López Mateos. Sample was taken as a group of 32 students from each institution of sixth grade group having a total population of 64 students. A questionnaire was 9 closed questions that measured the two variables that were sought. After the research raised the hypothesis proved correct.
